landing the Wills Wing Ultra Sport 147 close to Maiersdorf
Approaching over a cornfield just as close as shown in the image above (composite of 2 images) was definitely not recommendet in the hangglider handbooks. If the speedbar would have got in contact with the corn while flying, the hangglider would have been stopped suddenly. This would have led to crash on its nose with a serious chance to damage the hangglider and to injure the pilot.
